These are the cutest design ever, even without books in between them they just make for cute decor. Very versatile. I do use these for my infant book collection so it works out well. You just need to make sure you keep the rabbit arm on the outside edge of the books. You will see that it hold much better when they are flushed against the books. They are very light weight so they don't hold if the book is leaning on them. It's more on the costly side. But it's worth it. Recommended!

Okay! It’s true these are much lighter weight than expected and need extra accommodation to use them as book ends. Either the books need to stand up fairly easy by themselves (like hardback covers) or the books need to be pretty light weight. However, that being said, I love these so much! My son’s favorite animal right now are rabbits and I personally love cute pink things. I gifted these to me and my son (though they are being used in my office) and it was one of favorite gifts this holiday. Definitely recommend if you are buying more for the look and are okay with them needing extra help as book ends.

These are such a cute set of bookends for the child in your life. They are so cute and standing alone that "lock together" in a hug. They are not as heavy as typical bookends, so they are safer for children, but they have a wide felted bottom and are well balanced, so they work well without additional weight. The design is precious and well executed, so while they may be for children they are not cheap or tacky looking in the least. I am 100% happy with this purchase!

I like the size of these--six inches tall and almost four inches wide each, but as bookends, they are not heavy enough. For a short row of children's board books, or a short row of smaller format paperbacks, they will keep the books in place on a bureau or table. But they are child-themed, and too light to support more than two or three larger format picture books. For adults who may enjoy the cuteness of these, and they are adorable--they are much too light for hardcover books or novels. Just to give you an idea, each one weighs only ten ounces. Standard bookends in my house average about twenty-two ounces. They will be fine for one or two larger books, but I need them to be more useful than that.
