There is one outlet which is 45W - enough to match the super charging function my Samsung phone, or to charge a device like a Microsoft Surface Pro - which is what I used this for in conjunction with an Anker dock.
It will charge laptops too, but I found my Lenovo wouldn't charge and operate the dock with just the 45W output.
The USB-A ports are still in use for many devices that need recharging and the addition of another 18W USB-C port is useful for charging USB-C devices such as Headphones, Phones and Tablets at a reasonable speed.
In normal operation the device doesn't appear to get overly warm. I'm sure in the future we'll see slim versions that have 65W and 45W - but for now the power delivered for the size is perfect.
Anker quality and design. Recommended.
Update: 07/02/2022.
Worked fine for about 4/5 months. Then I noticed it constantly started and stopped charging my phone on both USB C ports. Anker were very quick to replace the item, but the replacement did the same from the get go.
I tried different cables with both and had the same issue. So I thought maybe it was my phone. I upgraded phone in December, but my new phone has the same issue. I even tried different electrical sockets in case it was the supply.
It's very odd as I had always picked Anker first over other brands, but now I'm not so sure.
Customer service however was top notch in the first instance of a problem.
I genuinely don't understand why they haven't just out a wireless phone charger on the top. Just baffled. I bought this product already knowing that but everytime I go to charger my phone's, I just really wish there was this product with the wireless on the top.
For charging, I've tested with everything from FitBits, Smart watches, LED lights, keyboards, Switch OLED, Switch Light, Sony A7C and ZVE10 cameras, Analogue Pocket, iPad Pro and even Maccbook pro 13 (slower than proper 65w charger). You won't be able to properly power a full laptop past 45w when running heavy apps.
