All in all, very satisfied.
The only downside is that it gives you updates saying someone has been spotted moving but it's a little off, sometimes.
For the price and HomeKit secure video integration, I strongly recommend this camera.
Pros:
Stunning 2K Video Quality: The C120 boasts 2K resolution, delivering ultra-clear and detailed footage. This high level of clarity ensures you can easily discern faces, objects, and intricate details in your video feed.
Advanced AI Detection: The C120 utilizes AI technology to detect and classify human and pet motion accurately. This minimizes false alerts, ensuring you only receive notifications for relevant events, enhancing overall security.
Two-Way Audio Communication: The built-in microphone and speaker allow for clear and responsive communication with people in the room. This feature is particularly handy for checking in on family members or pets when you're away from home.
Local Storage and Data Encryption: The C120 supports local storage via a microSD card (not included), offering an extra layer of privacy. Additionally, all data is encrypted, safeguarding it from unauthorized access.
Smart Integration and Accessibility: The camera is compatible with popular smart home platforms like Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple Homekit, allowing for seamless integration into your existing smart home ecosystem. The eufy Security app provides easy access to your camera's feed from anywhere in the world.
Cons:
No Panoramic View: While the camera offers pan and tilt functions, it does not provide a panoramic view. Users looking for a single camera to cover an entire room may need to consider additional units.
Wired Power Source: The C120 requires a wired power connection, which may limit placement options. Users seeking a completely wireless solution may need to explore alternative models.
It does exactly what is says!
The supporting software is great too. I can access the camera remotely (so long as my home network is active). It alerts me via the app on my phone if the camera detects movement. It can also set the camera on a schedule (e.g. active from 7am to 9pm, inactive otherwise).
The only con for me is its reliance on a USB cable, and it's too small a con to really matter to me. The supplied cable is not very long, so if you're placing it somewhere that's pretty far from a plug point, you'd need to grab a long cable.
