Soundcore Anker Life Q30 Hybrid Active Noise Cancelling Wireless Bluetooth Headphones with Multiple Modes

The Q30's are just as hyped. They sound great, are built well for the price, and the NC actually works well. Have been burning in about 4 to 6 hours daily. The battery life is amazing too and on Non NC gives above 60hrs.

The default EQ is a bit bassy and there are few dulls in the details. But custom EQ is here to the rescue. Have set up individual EQ profile for NC and Non NC setting. They sound amazing the mids and highs are very clear, even at high volumes there is no distortions or loss of clarity. Does not sound tinny at all given the price, Ive owned JBL and senh. before and let me tell you Soundcore has done a great job on the sound quality front.

These headphones are built really well and there is a carry case. The pads are a memory foam type so are very comfy. They probide decent passive isolations too. Those with very outward earsight find it a bit uncomfortable as the padding are not very thick. But for most people this is a very comfortable set and can be used for lomg hours of listening.

Delivery was good and product delivered in perfect condition. Overall a happy purchase. If you need a good value for money and premium sound then go for the Q30. Dont miss them out!!

I’ve been using it for almost 2-3 weeks when going for a walk, watching movies, casual 2-3 hour listening to music and I must say these are holding pretty good more than I expected. Once again if you are bass head like me then you will love this. People who are into balance sound it will not appeal to you at first. The Sound core app fixes this issue and lets you tune the equalizer.

Quality wise it’s plastic so don’t expect some high level of feel to it. It’s well designed for the price. Ear cups are very soft and has good cushion. Same goes for the head rest.

ANC is amazing in this. I have AirPods Pro and it gives a good competition to it. Only annoying thing is the transparency mode is quite amplified. It means if you are in a windy spot or in a crowded place you will most likely hear what people are saying and hear the wind blow and making a squeal. Using it for more than 3-4 hours you’ll feel your ears warm but that’s about it.

Product delivery from Amazon was also super fast. The delivery was smooth and since it’s from original supplier it’s trustworthy too!

Overall I give this 9/10 Only downside I would say is the transparency mode being amplified more than the other ANC Headphones in market which is annoying at times but Noise cancellation equally works great with no leaks.

I am really surprised by the headphone it’s really nice and sound quality is amazing easy compatible with iPhone with PS5 but you have to get anther item Bluetooth to compatible with it but overall it’s nice really and I recommend quality and price 👌

I've been enjoying these headphones for the past 2 days during various activities such as walks, movie sessions, and extended music listening, and I must say they've exceeded my expectations. As a self-proclaimed bass head, I can attest that the low-end response is impressive. However, for those seeking a balanced sound, the initial experience might not be as appealing, but the Soundcore app provides a solution with its customizable equalizer.

The build quality leans towards plastic, but given the price point, it's well-designed. The ear cups are remarkably soft with good cushioning, providing a comfortable fit. The headrest follows suit, enhancing the overall comfort during extended usage.

The active noise cancellation (ANC) is truly noteworthy, giving a tough competition even to premium options like the AirPods Pro. One minor drawback is the transparency mode, which tends to amplify external sounds in windy or crowded environments, sometimes making conversations and wind noise more prominent. Extended use may lead to slightly warm ears, but it's manageable.

On the positive side, the Amazon delivery experience was commendable—swift and smooth. The fact that the product came directly from the original supplier adds a layer of trustworthiness.

However, I must express dissatisfaction with the delivery personnel who left the parcel unattended outside my door. This could pose a security risk and is an aspect that needs improvement in the overall delivery service.

Comprei esse fone em fevereiro, chegou um mês antes do prazo. Desde março até agora, agosto, o fone não apresentou nenhum desgaste (levando em conta que eu uso ele pelo menos 3-4 horas por dia, normal e as vezes suado): o couro está 100% e a bateria continua nova.

Em questão da bateria, acho que, nesses 5 meses, se carreguei ele mais de 10 vezes seria muito. A bateria é muito boa, ainda mais pq só uso com o cancelamento de ruído ligado.

Em questão de som não posso opinar muito pois não tenho muitas experiências boas, porém, diria que o áudio é muito bom, não excelente, nem perfeito, mas muito bom (ainda mais levando em conta que é 400 reais).

O fone é confortável, porém, com o tempo deixa a orelha “abafada”, mas justificável pois é de couro. Uso óculos, dificilmente o fone incomoda.

É o melhor fone para se comprar por esse preço.

Opening the box, I was impressed with packaging and initial impressions of quality. Headphones felt solid and of good quality materials. Connecting to a new device is very straightforward (press and hold power button for +3 seconds). Controls on the sides of the headphones make it easy to adjust volume quickly, as well as noise cancellation functionality. There is a nice touch where if you press and hold on the logo on the right-side headphone it will go into 'transparency' mode, which brings outside noise into the headphones. This is helpful if you're in noise cancellation mode and a coworker stops by to chat, you can quickly and easily duck in and out of noise cancellation. The headphones fold for travel. The kit includes a USB-C charging cable, aux cord and carrying case.

SOUND QUALITY - 9/10
So far the soundstage is broad, with clear highs and deep bass. Excellent!

COMFORT - 10/10
Ear pads are extremely soft, which makes them easy to wear for long periods. Adjustable band for different head sizes. Excellent comfort.

NOISE CANCELLATION - 7/10
This is the main reason I bought the Anker Soundcore Q30 headphones. I live in a townhouse and my neighbour with a shared wall has dogs that bark during the day - I needed a way to focus while working from home. While the NC does not completely eliminate the noise, it does reduce it significantly - I would say 60-70% reduction. I considered whether or not to just purchase construction-style noise blocking over the ear headphones, which promise up to a -38dB reduction, but they are often designed for extreme environments and would not be comfortable for a long period of time. If complete elimination of noise is required, you could purchase a more expensive pair of Bose Ultimate headphones. Or, use a pair of foam earplugs with these overtop and play white noise or music through the headphones with NC turned on.

If you go to rtings.com, you can objectively compare the noise cancellation performance of these Q30's with premium Bose and Sony headphones. Surprisingly, the performance is closer than you might expect for the price gap. Yes, the Bose in particular blocks more sound, especially in the higher frequencies. But the Q30's are still some of the best performing noise cancelling headphones for the < $100 market.

Within the app, you can choose from 3 noise cancelling 'modes'. These are not available unless you download the app, and customize the frequencies that are targeted by the NC.

1) Transport: Targets low-end frequencies like engine and road noise (default mode)
2) Indoor: Eliminates voices and mid-frequency noise (this is my preferred mode)
3) Outdoor: Reduces ambient sound on-the-go

Its worth noting that because these are large, over-the-ear headphones, just putting them on will cut some of the noise. Even before you start playing any music, you can just put these on your head and instantly cut like -20 dB or more from the ambient sound. You can also activate NC without playing sound, so if you want to just cut the noise, you can do that.

BATTERY LIFE
I'm still waiting to kill this battery. It lasts for days of casual use. I'm not sure if it will actually last for the claimed 40 hours, especially when using NC, but its certainly better than my wireless buds.

VALUE / CONCLUSION
Buyers looking for good quality NC headphones on a budget will be very pleased. Sure, a set of Bose or Sony headphones will outperform in ultimate noise cancellation and sound quality, but for the price these Soundcore Q30's are a great buy.
