I was having to reconnect weekly.
So read the reviews for the Tenda CP6 wifi camera. I thought I'd try this as it looked good an reviews was good. It was on sale on prime.
Packaging was decent. It also had a UK number or helpline to call.
I opened it up, seemed decent an solid.
Read the instructions. An then powered it up. Downloaded the APP, followed instructions, an that's as far as it went. Reset the camera as per help, nothing wouldn't scan the QR code or wouldn't even let me manually add it in there other option.
So was very disappointed with this, as I now have to send it back and find a decent WiFi security camera set up.
I have about 8 or so cameras connected at 1 time so if this went well I would have ordered more of them to replace NEOS smartcam which is like wyze security cameras too.
Picture quality is nice and sharp with good colours but it has a kind of 'fish-eye' effect with the sides of the image having a prominent curve.
The worst thing though is that there is no way to control from the PC, or to get files from the camera to the PC for viewing/editing for retention.
Good price so will keep for other minor uses but will look for a model with more comprehensive software.
